President

Theresa Proios-Jewell

Theresa Proios-Jewell, Agency Principal of Legacy Underwriters, Inc., began her insurance career at a small agency right after graduating high school. Theresa obtained her 2-20 Insurance license in November of 1999 and her 1-20 Surplus Lines license in October of 2009. 


Prior to starting Legacy Underwriters, Theresa was the Assistant Yacht Manager with a wholesale operation where she worked for just over 12 years. Her duties at that operation included placing marine business, growing a profitable book of personal and commercial marine insurance business, and overseeing the operations of the yacht department. During that time, Theresa built strong relationships with company underwriters as well as her producers.

 

These strong relationships, along with her 30+ years of experience in the industry, have been the drivers of Legacy Underwriters, Inc success.

LICENSED AGENT

Madison Walton-Baker

Madison Walton-Baker began her insurance career at Legacy Underwriters, Inc. in October of 2013.


In July of 2015 she obtained her 2-20 Insurance License. Prior to joining Legacy Underwriters, Madison studied at St. Petersburg College for her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.


At Legacy Underwriters, Madison handles the accounting, marketing & is the account manager on her own book of personal & commercial renewals.

LICENSED AGENT

Justin Crowell

Justin Crowell began his insurance career at Legacy Underwriters, Inc. in January of 2020.

 

In October of 2021 he obtained his 2-20 Insurance License.

 

At Legacy Underwriters, Justin handles the policy & certificate issuance, data input & is the account manger on his own book of renewal business.
